Anna Kordasiewicz (publishing also as Anna Rosińska) is an assistant professor at the Centre for Migration Research, University of Warsaw, working in the NSC funded “Unfinished migration transition and ageing population in Poland. Asynchronous population changes and the transformation of formal and informal care institutions” project. She collaborates with Institute of Sociology, University of Łódź, where she is part of the project “Poles in the world of late capitalism: changes of biographical processes in terms of professional careers, social relations and identity at the time of system transformation in Poland”, Institute of Sociology, University of Łódź, and with Field of Dialogue Foundation. Her research interests pertain to paid domestic work, incl. care work, aging and the transformations of contemporary social relationships. She studied paid domestic work in Italy, Germany and Poland. She specializes in and teaches qualitative research and analysis, including computer assisted qualitative data analysis. She published the book “Domestic service / servants” on paid care and domestic work in postwar Poland which was awarded as a Foundation for Polish Science Monograph. She received a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship for the project “MAJORdom. Intersections of class and ethnicity in paid domestic and care work: theoretical development and policy recommendations based on the study of ‘majority workers’ in Italy and in the USA”, to be carried out at the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari and the University of Massachusetts (Lowell) (2018-2021).
