Justyna Pokojska – a PhD student in the Institute of Sociology, University of Warsaw. In 2011 defended her MA dissertation in sociology of ethnicy with elements of sociolinguistics (entitled: The vernacular of the inhabitants of Polish Spiš as a residuum of ethnic identity at the Polish-Slovakian borderland). Double scholar of Ministry of Science and Higher Education. In 2008 spent 8 months at the Faculty of Social Sciences at University of Munich as an Erasmus student. Since 2010 research assistant in the Centre of Migration Research.
Her sociological interests focus on the ethnic relations in the local communities of the borderlands.
