This policy brief examines the domestic work sector in Poland, focusing on the experience of Ukrainian migrant women who have benefited from the Special Law. The sector is characterized by poor working conditions and high levels of informality. The policy brief proposes two potential pathways for improvement: professionalizing the sector to ensure decent working conditions and creating institutionalized opportunities for workers to transition out of domestic work into roles better aligned with their skills.
