Abstrakt
This CMR Spotlight introduces a brand new book edited by Marek Okólski, just published by Springer. The book, which results from the E-factor project at CMR, focuses on the role of employers and their interests in labour migration in a global historical perspective and in several European countries: Germany, the UK, Italy and Poland. Its major contribution consists in offering a neo-institutionalist framework to provide conceptual grounds for comprehensive analyses of employers’ influence and highlighting the role of institutional environments of various countries in shaping the pursuit of employers’ interests.
