Karolina Sobczak-Szelc has been invited to serve as a Review Editor for the Seventh Assessment Report (AR7) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) – the world’s most important scientific report on climate change.
She will contribute to Working Group II, specifically to Chapter 20: Poverty, livelihoods, mobility and fragility.
This appointment is both a great honour and an opportunity to represent the University and the Centre in a distinguished international team of researchers and experts working under the auspices of the United Nations. The official work will commence in the coming months, with the first meeting taking place in December in Paris, and will continue until the publication of the report in 2028.
