We would like to congratulate Agnieszka Radziwinowicz and Zuzanna Brunarska on the occasion of their sucessful PhD defenses!
Agnieszka Radziwinowicz’s defense took place October 17th in the Institute of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosphy and Sociology, University of Warsaw, while Zuzanna Brunarska defended her thesis on October 18th at the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies, University of Warsaw.
Agnieszka’s dissertation was entitled “Living/Leaving the Deportation Regime: Power and Violence in Deportation from the United States”.
Zuzanna’s thesis was entitled “Disengagement in state-society relations in Russia: a regional perspective”.
