Carina Kobler is a political scientist and PhD-candidate at the Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies in Austria. Her doctoral project deals with 24-hour care migration from Eastern European Countries to Austria and Germany. By investigating different actors (Member States’ governments, administrative bodies and workers’ interest representation), the dissertation seeks to analyze national-level capacities to regulate and enforce mobile workers’ labor and social rights. Her research interests include: Mobility (internal EU mobility, labor migration, care migration), policy implementation and qualitative methods.
