Josephine Assmus is a political scientist and a PhD Candidate at the Institute for Intercultural and International Studies (InIIS) at the University of Bremen, Germany. She works in the project ‘Rebalancing the Enlarged Single Market’ (RESiM) which is executed in cooperation with the University of Salzburg and focuses on atypical labour mobility and social readjustments to the European Single Market. Her dissertation project focuses more specifically on the labour mobility between Poland and Germany and the role different actors (public administration and civil society) play in the enforcement of labour rights.
