Katarzyna Wójcikowska-Baniak – graduated from Institute of Sociology and Institute of Political Science, University of Warsaw, doctoral student in the Department of Social Anthropology of Insitute od Sociology UW. She is preparing her Phd dissertation about the meaning of the educational migration of the young generation of the Lithuanian minority – both for individuals’ identity transformations and for the functioning of the minority community. Her academic interests focus on migration, identity strategies, national and ethnic minorities and biographical research. Fieldwork is a part of the work that she enjoys the most. In CRM, she is working in the project „Migrant networks and integration of Ukrainian migrants in Poland – a quantitative and qualitative approach”. She likes to travel and read non-fiction literature.
