Tomasz Kosiek (PhD.) is a cultural anthropologist (ethnologist), a graduate of IEiAK University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. From 2014 he works as an adjunct at the Institute of History of the University of Rzeszów. His research focuses on the issues of identity and memory of the Ukrainian minority in Poland and Romania. He also conducted research on the  Polish community in Lviv and local economy of the community in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Currently, his research interests revolve around identity formation of communities affected by deportation.
