In 2017 Magda defended her PhD dissertation titled “Self-selection in choice of occupation: family and gender issues” at the Faculty of Economic Sciences UW. On a daily basis she cooperate with the foundation GRAPE and the Centre of Migration Research, University of Warsaw. Her research interests relate primarily to issues related to the labor market and the family. In her research she concerns possible transmissions of occupational patterns related to gender roles between parents and children. She use often experimental economics methodology.
