The book presents the most important notions and key theories which help understand the phenomenon of migration. Particular attention was paid to topics such as: the influx of various groups of foreigners into Poland, the integration of migrants, migration policy, the role of media in the discourse on migrations, different types of migration (refugee, forced, labour, high-skilled labour migration, internal, climate), which are of special importance in Poland as a country of emigration and immigration.
